Internal Communications - Inside Out: Fundamentals versus Futures –it’s all about trust?

If you’ve ever seen the movie ‘Inside Out’, this is more of an adult version which explains why we listen to certain people/things and what are the Internal Communications mechanisms in the human mind.  It looks at the fundamental ways that communications influence us – and what does this mean for the future of communications.   Specifically it takes a look at why we trust a personal or corporate brand and ways to ensure that a message encodes trust in the future.

It draws on the experience of Boundaries Edge, a company with staff from backgrounds in the British Intelligence Services, UK Special Forces, business psychology and Fortune 500 companies.  As they will explain, the ability to persuade and influence within special operations is fundamentally the same as operating within the corporate world.

Graham Cox is an international speaker on the subjects of Persuasion, Influence and Liking. Having spent a career in British government agencies as well as blue chip companies such as Exxon and PepsiCo, his operational experiences give him a unique perspective on human behaviour and how it can relate to the corporate sector. Decorated for operational gallantry in 2005 for service in Afghanistan he now helps companies to ensure they don’t make the same mistakes he did.
